About The Program

A playground for creative ideas to blossom 💡

Street Labs aims to help creative professionals between 20-35 to enhance their creative skills and increase their productivity through a Creators In Residence Program and access to mini-labs with machinery and tools. We consider ourselves as the IKEA for Creative professionals in Haiti. A playground for disadvantaged creators to come up with breakthrough ideas.

The value proposition of StreetLabs

A wide variety of tools/equipment to help underserved entrepreneurs give life to their creative vision.

Training to help creative pros to develop their skills and innovation muscles.

Marketing and sales channel for our StreetLabers to sell their products locally and internationally.

The Ikea for local creators

Our strategy is to turn the pyramid of innovation upside down
by empowering people at the bottom of the pyramid to innovate by providing
them with the tools, resources, and training required to bring quality products to market.

Media Lab

A well-equipped media with some of the latest podcasting technology and video production. Our media lab creators birth out content to help high school students pass university exams, share unknown facts of Haitian history, help women who suffer sexual abuse, teach digital marketing and revive the craft of storytelling in our everyday life.

Maker Space

A maker space with a laser printer, heat press, sewing & embroidery machines, bag sealers, and other craft tools allowing our creators to recycle water bags into cover bags, stylish purses, and recycled earrings.

Kitchen

A clean kitchen space is set up with stoves, kitchen appliances for creators to cook and bring new food products to life.

Wood Working

To decentralize operations, our woodworking lab is set up in Kenscoff, a city without even a professional school. The lab is also well equipped with all the necessary electric tools to create faster, more beautiful products.
